Microsoft Offers Free 1-Year Microsoft 365 Personal and Copilot Access for Students

By NYT

Faisalabad (NY Tomorrow) Microsoft, making a big announcement for students, has made its Microsoft 365 Personal subscription available with Copilot completely free for 1 year, which is more than the 3 months trial that is usually given.

According to the details, this offer is similar to initiatives taken by Google, OpenAI and Perplexity for students. This offer is for students who have completed high school and are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program.

Students who are not part of a registered degree program will not be able to take advantage of this facility. The sign-up page is already live, and students can get a 12-month subscription immediately. However, this offer will end after November 30.

According to Microsoft, 365 Personal is exclusive to one individual and cannot be shared. Students will be able to log in on up to 5 devices simultaneously, be it computers, mobile phones or tablets. In this, the premium features of all Microsoft 365 apps are being given absolutely free.
